If you have never used GAPI  I would add it to you list of things to do , because this program can do far  more for your Gizmondo then any other , now if you have used GAPI then you know what it can do ,but I will set this page up to show what it is and what it does .

GAPI (game application programming interface) lets you have Direct access to Memory ,in turn doing things that would otherwise be difficult to do . So what your really getting is Direct X for Gizmondo .

So why would you want this , well not only can it make a game run faster,but it can make it look better as well, for example Microquad can now be played in Full Screen mode (SEE BELOW) .

As you can see it makes games look so much better .

Now play Meltdown the way it should be , As you can see in the Meltdown Pics the screen has been turned and is now full screen and what's so cool is GAPI does it all for you , you can change setting yourself ,but most of the time you won't have to .

After you Download GAPI run the EXE file and then follow the on screen instructions ,but don't install it to Program Files install it to the SD card you will need some of the files , ok now after it's on your Gizmondo you will need to locate the GAPISETUP file (if useing Wince you should have a new ICON) if it's not already come up after install ?? Now if your useing WinCE then just click on Selest Device under start then scroll down the list of different PDA's and find the Gizmondo one , there should be Two kinds, I would select the second for now ,If your not useing WinCE then here are the Basic Controls .....

TOP LEFT BUTTON TO SWICH TO DIFFERENT SETTING , TOP RIGHT BUTTON TO EXIT , PAD TO MOVE UP - DOWN AND THE DOUBLE ARROW RIGHT BUTTON WILL LET YOU CHECK AND UNCHECK ITEMS.

Now after you have selected your system it should ask you if thats the one you want , say YES and after that you really don't need to do anything else to get the benefits of GAPI , you can turn on the Enable Framebuffer-Cache which can help games run faster under Setup .

NOTE : TO MAKE SURE YOU GET GAPI TO WORK WITH ALL GAMES YOU WILL NEED THE GAPI DLL FILE , THIS WILL LOAD GAPI FOR YOU ON ALL GAMES THAT ARE ONLY HALF SCREEN OR IF A SCREEN NEEDS TO BE ROTATED , JUST REPLACE THE GAPI DLL WITH YOUR CURRENT DLL FILE IN EITHER THE ROOT OF THE SD CARD OR WITHIN THE FILE FOLDER ITSELF.

Ok You should be ready to play all your games in Full Screen now , Have Fun and try playing with the settings , you might discover the Gizmondo can do a lot more then you think :)
